Businesses can choose how to pay vendors and contractors based on the recipient’s payment requirements.
TYLER, Texas, September 9, 2026. Business payments rarely follow one format.
One vendor wants ACH. Another asks for a check. A time-sensitive payment may call for a wire. A contractor may only provide an email or mailing address.
Zil Money is positioning its Money Transfer tools around that everyday payment problem.
The platform currently supports ACH, Same Day ACH, domestic wires, check mailing, eChecks, international payments, and eligible credit-card-funded payment workflows. Businesses can select a payment method based on the information they have and how the recipient needs to be paid.
The shift toward electronic B2B payments continues across the U.S. economy. Nacha reported that the ACH Network processed 4.3 billion B2B payments in the first half of 2026, up 10.3% from the same period a year earlier. That figure covers the ACH Network as a whole, not Zil Money transactions.
ACH can work well for routine vendor and contractor payments when bank information is available.
Checks remain useful when a recipient does not want to provide bank details.
Wires can serve different timing or transaction needs.
Zil Money also allows eligible payments to be funded by business credit card, subject to transaction review, fees, card terms, and other conditions.
The purpose is not to push every business payment onto one rail. It is to let the business choose a supported rail that fits the transaction.
