The Beatles movie project has announced four new names joining the upcoming series of films about the band. Joining the films are Harry Lawtey, Farhan Akhtar, Lucy Boynton, and Morfydd Clark. The project is being directed by Sam Mendes.
The new cast members are expected to portray people connected to the band’s early history and personal lives. The film has already cast actors Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
The films are part of a planned four-movie series, with each installment focused on a different member of The Beatles. The overall goal is to tell the band’s story from multiple points of view. This has never been done before but thanks to hundreds of interviews with each of the band members, should be easy enough for Mendes to pull off.
All four films are currently in production.
