When Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro announced he was FINALLY going to do his adaptation of Frankenstein, we were immediately interested. Knowing GdT’s love for the source material as well as the iconic imagery of artist Bernie Wrightson‘s take on the story, there’s no way this won’t be a visual and haunting spectacle.
This morning, Netflix released a new, full-length trailer for the film.

Jacob Elordi (“Saltburn”) will play Adam/The Monster, alongside Oscar Isaac (“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”) as Victor Frankenstein. Mia Goth (“Pearl”), Christoph Waltz (“Most Dangerous Game”), Felix Kammerer (“All Quiet on the Western Front”), Lars Mikkelsen (“Ahsoka”), David Bradley (“Pinocchio”), Charles Dance (“Game of Thrones“), and Christian Convery (“Sweet Tooth”) also star.

del Toro is writing, directing, and producing the film for Netflix, alongside J. Miles Dale. The duo previously worked together on “Cabinet of Curiosities,” which was also created for Netflix.
“Frankenstein” will hit theaters October 17th. It’ll stream on Netflix starting November 7th.
