Roulette Games To Try In The PS5

The PlayStation 5 may be most known for its triple-A titles but there are a wealth of simpler applications that can be accessed on the PS store.

Casino games may not need the console’s state-of-the-art graphics card or processing power to run smoothly, but these features certainly don’t hurt. What do you get when you cross the most sophisticated gaming platform to ever exist with the oldest known casino game?

An immersive roulette experience, unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

    How to Play Roulette

Roulette is straightforward in that you only need to pick a bet and see where the ball lands. Inside bets are placed directly on numbers or small groups of numbers on the roulette table. Outside bets cover larger groups like red/black or odd/even. Inside bets have bigger payouts but lower odds of winning. Outside bets give you better chances but smaller payouts.

The key difference between PlayStation roulette and real casinos lies in how the games are programmed. Just like NBA 2K23 might let you score 120 points more easily than a real basketball game, PS5 casino games often provide a more generous experience than their real-world counterparts.

This makes PS5 roulette perfect for learning the game. You can experiment with different betting strategies without risking real money. Try various combinations of inside and outside bets. Learn what different sections of the table mean. Figure out what style of play you enjoy.

Just remember that your winning streaks on PlayStation might not translate directly to real casinos. The odds are often tweaked to be more player-friendly, the same way video game sports are usually easier than their real counterparts. While it’s great for practice and entertainment, don’t compare your real gambling expectations on online casinos such as YouBet.com with video game results.

    High Roller Casino

High Roller Casino was actually originally made for the PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2002. It was an instant hit in the world of virtual casinos, allowing players to enjoy a wide range of classic casino games in an accessible and fun format.

It’s a pleasant alternative to the modern casino game format in which players are often required to make in-game purchases to get their chips back. Back in 2002, this was a concept that didn’t even exist. When you run out of chips, restart the game.

No, you don’t need to get into a bidding war on eBay for a vintage PS2 console. High Roller Casino was ported in 2017 and can now be purchased on the PS Store for $7.50.

    Casino Four Kings

Casino Four Kings gives you the chance to create a customized avatar and explore the casino floor in a way that is more reminiscent of a traditional role-playing game. Where High Roller Casino has an interface in which you scroll through games the way you might navigate a phone app, Casino Four Kings is more exploratory.

You get the chance to literally navigate around the casino and enjoy little details that make the experience more immersive.

Roulette is, of course, featured prominently, but you also have plenty of opportunities to explore other popular casino games.

    Casino Roulette

Casino Roulette is a true roulette simulator. While you only get one game, the developers advertise it as being a realistic simulation. Theoretically, this means that it could be the best way to test a betting strategy out without risking real money.

As mentioned earlier, many console casino games include inflated odds to make your experience more enjoyable. Casino Roulette may play closer to life. Of course, it’s very hard to say for sure. You have to understand that the Pew Research Center isn’t taking data on how closely PlayStation games resemble the experiences they are based on.

Here’s what you should know: At the time of writing Casino Roulette is only $3 on the PlayStation store. That’s roughly half the price of the other games we’ve described. If you want a simple, straightforward app that focuses only on Roulette, this is probably the best way to get it.

On the other hand, if you are willing to part with just a few more dollars, you can enjoy a much more comprehensive gaming experience—even if the experiences you have are a little fantastical with the other games.

    The Limitation

The big limitation of the PlayStation 5 in the context of casino play is that all of your wagers are pretend. While you’ll sometimes be glad this is the case, most of us enjoy the thrill of wagering real money when we gamble.

There are hundreds of fully licensed online casinos that are readily available to people who feel bored with the E for Everyone version of gambling. Study up to find reputable sites with compelling new player incentives.

No-stake games are fun but eventually, most of us will enjoy the chance to try our hand at something a little more stimulating.
