After the successes of Lionsgate’s “Saw” and “Blair Witch” escape rooms and “The Hunger Games” exhibition, the studio will now be adding a Las Vegas-based “John Wick” experience to its arsenal. This new experience is being done in partnership with the immersive entertainment district AREA15.

Chad Stahelski and his team at 87Eleven Entertainment are involved in the overall design of the upcoming attraction, with Egan Productions. The John Wick experience will take up 12,000 square feet of space in the AREA15 campus.

“My entire team is thrilled to be working alongside Lionsgate to introduce yet another exciting attraction here in the entertainment capital of the world,” Jason Egan of Egan Productions said. “Combining our talents with the creative genius of the films and a world-class venue like AREA15 will make the John Wick Experience a can’t miss destination for fans.”

The new attraction will allow guests to step into the infamous Continental Hotel, the epicenter of the “John Wick” universe. They will have to navigate a high-stakes adventure where they will be tasked with specific missions that play out in unique ways with characters, mythology, and iconographyfrom the franchise. To succeed they must mingle with Continental staff, assassins, crime bosses, and other guests like themselves.

There will also be a themed bar and retail shop that is open to the general public. So, no special gold coins are required.

“It’s always gratifying to see people embrace your story and characters, whether on the big screen or with a fully immersive experience like this one,” said Stahelski. “The teams at Lionsgate, AREA15 and Egan really dive into this world, and I’m excited that fans will experience it live in Vegas.”

“One of the things I love about the John Wick franchise is the idea that there’s a whole world of alliances and vengeance hiding in plain sight – all converging within the worldwide locations of the Continental,” Jenefer Brown, EVP & Head of Global Products and Experiences at Lionsgate, said. “This experience draws fans into that world like never before, and AREA15 is an ideal place for fans to live out the fantasy, action and danger portrayed in the films.”

Recently Lionsgates struck a deal with Stahelski to assume creative oversight of the “John Wick” franchise across all multimedia platforms. Its newest edition, the TV series “The Continental: From the World of John Wick,” is currently streaming on Peacock. The spinoff film “Ballerina,” starring Ana de Armas will hit theaters on June 7th. The John Wick experience is set to open at AREA15 later this year.
