Just in case you forgot- yes, we are still getting another season of “The Witcher“ on Netflix. True, the departure of star Henry Cavill is still fresh in some fan’s minds. With Liam Hemsworth taking over in the role of Geralt of Rivia, things are definitely changing for the series. But it’s not all bad news, as we have a pretty big casting update to share!
The great Laurence Fishburne has joined “The Witcher” as fan-favorite character Regis the barber surgeon! But also spoiler, that’s not the character’s ONLY name. (Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy.) Geralt first meets Regis roughly 5 years before the action in “The Witcher 3.” We don’t wanna….give too much away, but let’s just say maybe there’s vampires involved.
So theoretically, that’s what we’ll be getting in season 4.
Filming is expected to kick off anytime now. Which of course means it’ll be awhile before the season releases. You can catch up with seasons 1-3 on Netflix now, as well as some other goodies from The Continent.
