Welcome to my Runescape Gold Making guide, where I will discuss how to maximize your profits while participating in the Hallowed Sepulchre Agility activity. This activity is a great way to make money while also enjoying some of the game’s most challenging content. This guide will teach you how to get to the Hallowed Sepulchre, the requirements for participating, the recommended equipment, and how to progress through the floors in order to make the most money.

    Getting to the Hallowed Sepulchre

The Hallowed Sepulchre is located in the city of Darkmeyer, beneath the city of Hallowvale. To gain access to Darkmeyer, players must first complete the Sins of the Father quest. Once the player has access to Darkmeyer, there are several ways to get to the Hallowed Sepulchre. The easiest way is to use Drakan’s medallion, which will teleport the player directly to Darkmeyer. Players can then run to the Hallowed Sepulchre entrance. Another way is to use a Hallowed Crystal Shard, which will teleport the player directly to the lobby of the Hallowed Sepulchre.

    Requirements

In order to participate in the Hallowed Sepulchre, players must meet several requirements. The first is a minimum Agility level of 52, which is not boostable. Higher Agility levels are needed to access the deeper floors, with the requirements being 62, 72, 82 and 92 Agility respectively. It is also recommended that players have at least 70 Hitpoints in order to survive the traps inside the Hallowed Sepulchre. Lastly, it is recommended to bring a Saradomin item with you, as this is necessary to use the magical obelisks at the end of each floor, which will restore the player’s run energy. Players wearing any non-Saradomin God items (such as an Armadyl crossbow) will have their run energy drained.

    Looting Coffins

Looting the coffins is optional, but is the only way to obtain rewards like hallowed marks. Depending on the obstacle blocking the coffin, the player may need a certain minimum level to loot it. For example, 66 Thieving (boostable) is needed to loot a coffin blocked by a Thieving obstacle. Construction 56 (boostable), Prayer 54, Magic 7 and Ranged 62 are also required for other obstacles.

    Recommended Setup

In order to make the most money in the Hallowed Sepulchre, it is recommended to bring a certain setup of items. This setup should include a Hammer, Saw, Rune Nails, Strange Old Lockpick, 4 Planks, 4 Vampyre Dust, Rune Pouch, Cosmic Runes, Lava Runes, Prayer Book, Plank Sack, full Graceful, Crossbow, Mithril Grappel, Holy Symbol and Holy Book.

    Gameplay

This is a dangerous activity with an Item Retrieval Service (IRS). On death, all unprotected items will be transferred to the IRS near the activity’s entrance. Dying a second unsafe death will permanently delete all items left in the IRS. All items left on the ground will be lost, and Hardcore Ironmen will lose their status.

Progressing through the Hallowed Sepulchre requires running through each floor in a limited amount of time. The first floor begins with 2 minutes on the timer, and an additional 2 minutes is added to the timer when climbing down to each lower level. After the timer runs out, the player will still be able to complete the current floor to gain Agility experience, but will not be able to loot coffins or progress to the next floor. Hallowed tokens can be used to extend the timer. Time saved on a floor gets carried over to the next one.

The timer is paused after passing the final obstacle on each floor. This area contains magical obelisks, which will restore the player’s run energy if a Saradomin item is equipped and can be used to exit the sepulchre. Experience for completing a floor will only be granted upon descending the stairs at the end of the floor, or by exiting the floor via one of the magical obelisks.

The deeper floors will provide more hallowed marks per coffin, so it is important to make sure that your Agility level is high enough to access these floors. The best way to make money is to loot as many coffins as possible, while also completing the obstacles quickly.

    Navigating the Traps

The traps in the Hallowed Sepulchre appear in cyclic patterns, and running into them will teleport the player to a location just before the trap. This can prove costly in terms of time, but can be avoided by equipping a Hallowed Ring, which will protect the player from taking damage. The traps that appear along the route are as follows:

Wizard Statues – These shoot fire in an alternating pattern from the left and right. To avoid them, the player must stand in the single gap between the flames.

Knight Statues – These throw a large Saradomin sword that moves back and forth along a straight path. Lower levels throw swords faster, making them harder to dodge.

Crossbowman Statues – These fire glowing bolts along a straight path that must be avoided. Lower floors fire two bolts at a time, making it harder to dodge them.

Priest Statues – These summon lightning in a 3×3 chequerboard pattern, stunning the player briefly and leaving them vulnerable to other traps.

Strange Tiles – These come in two colours (blue and yellow), and can be used to teleport the player a short distance. Blue tiles teleport the player forward, and yellow tiles teleport the player backward. Using either a blue or yellow tile grants a momentary period of invulnerability to other traps, and at deeper floors, they must be used in order to navigate the swords thrown by knight statues.

In addition to the traps, the player will also encounter skill challenges that must be unblocked before looting the coffins. These challenges come in the form of broken bridges, Saradomin Braziers, Portal Frames, and Pillars. Each type of obstacle has different item and skill requirements, and these can be used to increase the player’s profitability.

The rewards from looting the coffins include Hallowed Marks and other random rewards, including some unique items. At the end of the final floor, there is an additional Grand Hallowed Coffin that can be looted if the player reaches the end before the timer expires. Failing to loot a coffin will poison the player, so it is recommended to bring antipoison or the prayer book.

If the player is prepared and has the necessary skill and item requirements, they can achieve an average of 336,822.00 per run including the Ring of Endurance, and 199,094 without the Ring of Endurance. This gives a potential profit of 2,066,848 GP per hour. It is recommended to bring three vampyre dust per run and 6 mahogany planks. With a click-perfect execution and the necessary hallowed items, the player can even achieve this without a hallowed token.

The Hallowed Sepulchre is a great way to make Gold in Runescape, but it does require practice and preparation. With the right strategy and execution, the player can make a significant profit from the activity.

    Using the Hallowed Ring

The Hallowed Ring is a reward that can be purchased from the Hallowed Sepulchre Reward Shop for 10,000 hallowed marks. This ring will allow the player to skip the first obstacle on each floor, saving both time and money. It is recommended to purchase the Hallowed Ring first before purchasing any other rewards from the Reward Shop.

    Using the Hallowed Grapple

The Hallowed Grapple is another reward that can be purchased from the Hallowed Sepulchre Reward Shop for 30,000 hallowed marks. This grappling hook will allow the player to skip the first two obstacles on each floor, saving both time and money. It is recommended to purchase the Hallowed Grapple after purchasing the Hallowed Ring.

    Conclusion

The Hallowed Sepulchre is a great way to make money in Runescape, but it does require practice and preparation. With the right strategy and execution, the player can make a significant profit from the activity.
