Qatar World Cup 2022: Top Outright Bets And Predictions

The 22nd major of the FIFA World Cup competition and the first played in the Arab world is the 2022 World Cup Qatar, and it all gets started with the Group rounds on November 20. After that, the knockout stage will run from December 3 to 6, with the Playoffs taking place from December 13 to 17.

As with any FIFA World Cup, the championship comes with high stakes, and bookmakers set a huge number of long-term wagers to choose from. This way, the Brazilians are the favorites to win the event at +450, but there are a bunch of other squads in the running at the https://gg206.bet/en-ca outright section to win World Cup Qatar 2022.

Even though it is recommended to choose outright winners as the tournament starts, we want to increase your interest in the world championship and consider several attractive options for long-term bets. Without further delay, let’s get started.

    World Cup Winners

Even though Brazilia are currently listed as the World Cup 2022 favorites, among other leaders are France, Argentina, England, Spanish, and Germany. More so, Netherlands, Portugal, and Belgium are also given a good value for longshot bets.

    European Hopefuls

By the time of writing this article, European teams don’t appear to be the strongest favorites of the upcoming tournament. This way, the German national team failed the 2018 World Cup, and then did not go beyond the 1/8 finals of Euro 2020 with a new midfielder. In addition, they did not have a single serious rival throughout the qualification process for the 2022 World Cup. That said, the Germans lost to North Macedonia at home.

The British national team finished fourth in the 2018 World Cup and second in Euro 2022, but didn’t make it to the Playoffs of UEFA Nations League. France, the current world champion, had two strong opponents in the qualification phase of the 2022 World Cup, including Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a result, the team drew three times in the matchups.

The Belgians know how to win frequent victories, but this national squad constantly loses important matches. Last but not least, the Netherlands team is on the verge of gaining their momentum after the return of Louis van Gaal. If you’re an Europe’s hopeful, the Netherlands national team might make Cinderella’s run and would net a massive payout with +1200 odds.

    South American Contenders

Previously, European and South American football teams alternated victories. However, the last 4 World Cups were won by the representatives of Europe. The world championship in Qatar may stop this streak. So, it is worth paying attention to the leaders of the South American region.

Without any doubt, Brazil and Argentina should be highlighted. At the moment, both teams are well-balanced in lines, with much attention drawn to defense in a sharp and effective attack. They managed to overcome the qualification for the 2022 World Cup in their region without losing.

Brazil got into Group G, where opponents are Serbia, Cameroon, and Switzerland. The latter is a serious rival, mostly due to its powerful line of attack. That said, they often concede points by playing attacking football. Therefore, Brazilians will be able to snatch leadership in Groups, but this shouldn’t be easy to do.

    Group Winners

All groups have their favorites with odds ranging from -250 to -143. Thanks to Brazil and Argentina’s performance at the qualification phase, a lot of people view SA as the strongest region. In such a situation, you can make a parlay of the usual favorites and take them at high odds. Otherwise, you need to look for the dark horses of each group and wager on them to get a good value. Here are two groups that could make a Cinderella run:

    • Group D. Denmark can finish first in Groups with one of the most organized defenses in Europe in an effective attack. That’s part of why we now see them at +300 for this outcome.
    • Group H. Uruguay can take the first spot from the Portugal national team. The latter has many talented young football players from Uruguay. Bookmakers offer +200 odds presumably because of their dominance during the qualification phase.

Of course, bookmakers will adjust odds for outright markets as the tournament takes place. With the Group’s results, it will be a lot clear what teams have better value to wager on. That’s when it is high time for outright betting, which will no longer become so long-term.
