Thanks to interactivity and the rapid pace of technological progress, computer games can make us experience something that no other form of entertainment content is capable of. And if you’re looking for someone to play with, this LFG service will be helpful for you in finding the right people.

The games gave us countless moments, after which we paused them to realize what had just happened. Moments that will stay with us for years to come. This article covers 10 such video game moments.

God of War – the truth about Faye

It’s quite impressive when we find out about Atreus at the end of the game. But there’s another part of this story that reveals the plot from a completely different angle: Faye practically led the journey of Kratos and Atreus! At her request, Kratos felled the tree and started the whole chain of events. She marked the path for each character that he followed throughout the game. She was the author of this story. When you understand it, the second playing is filled with new meanings.

The Witcher 3 – the journey to Skellige

The Witcher 3 captivated fans with its plot, quests, mechanics of choice, and consequences, but the game world is worth noting separately. And it’s the journey to Skellige that shows how thoroughly this universe is elaborated. A completely new territory opens up in front of you, which differs from everything we have seen before.

There are atmospheric places in every corner, new stories, and interesting characters making Skellige rightfully the pearl of the Witcher.

Red Dead Redemption – the trip to Mexico

There are also enough exciting moments in Red Dead Redemption, but what we really will never forget is the first trip to Mexico. There’s not only a transition to a massive new open-world zone but also gorgeous cinematic views combined with the great Jose Gonzalez music. It is one of the best moments in the history of computer games, without any doubt.

    Half-Life: Alyx – the ending

The whole game is an excellent example of what one can achieve in VR if time, effort, and talented developers are behind the project. But it was the ending that became the finishing touch. The game thoroughly overplayed the end of Half-Life 2: Episode Two, so now the characters are heading towards the unknown, and we can only guess what awaits them in the future.

Pokemon Gold and Silver – the journey to Kanto

Pokemon Gold and Silver is still considered one of the best games in the series. You might think that eight stadium badges, a victory over Team R, and first place in the Pokemon League are everything you want from such a game. But then the game makes an ingenious plot twist and says that you have passed only a half of it. You will go to Kanto again to win eight more stadium badges and see how things have changed in three years.

    Uncharted 2 – the train

Uncharted 2 marked the beginning of a new trend of interactive story and narrative elements, setting the mood for countless games.

The best proof of it is a well-known episode with the train. It strikes from the first second, and when everything plays out in front of your eyes, it’s as if you become a part of a fantastic moment that made Uncharted 2 one of the best games of its generation.

    SOMA – the ending

The ending of SOMA shocks and puts you into brainstorming mode. After all, a player must understand what happened, why it happened, and how it will affect the future.

There are still disputes about what was real, what was not, and how everything happened a few years after the game’s release.

    F.E.A.R. – Alma

F.E.A.R. is still one of the best examples of enemy AI in the history of games. It is difficult to put in words what you experience when you face opponents for the first time. The most vivid embodiment of this phenomenon is Alma, a terrifying enemy that haunts you throughout the game.

    NieR: Automata – ending E

Nier: Automata is like nothing else. It’s filled to the brim with memorable episodes that make NieR one of the most thrilling games of this console’s generation. But if we had to choose only one moment from the whole game, we would stop at the ending E. There is stunning plot development and an excellent ending here, and a complete break in the gameplay patterns that this game is so famous for.

Shadow of the Colossus – the fifth Colossus

Shadow of the Colossus is full of striking moments, but as soon as we saw the Avion – a giant bird of prey flying over the lake – we realized that this sight would stay with us forever.

Moreover, you had to climb on it and then hold on with all your might while the Colossus tried to throw you to the ground during a dizzying aerial duel. In short, this battle is a perfect example of what made the game a huge success.
