“The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus suffered a concussion on a Georgia set earlier this month. The accident happened on March 11th, but reports are just now coming out about it.

Fandemic Dead, an Atlanta convention set for March 18th-20th, first reported the news. The event shared the announcement that Reedus would be unable to attend, due to filming on “The Walking Dead‘s” final season being pushed back. His name is now included in the cancellations portion the event’s website.

Jeffrey Chassen, Reedus spokesperson, confirmed the report. “Norman suffered a concussion on set. He is recovering well and will return to work soon.  Thank you to everyone for their concern.”

While it is unknown if the accident occurred while filming, we’re glad he’s going to be alright, and is getting it taken care of. It was a concussion that took Bob Saget just earlier this year.

The final season of “The Walking Dead” is currently in production, with a reported 2 weeks remaining. The last episode is expected to air on AMC later this year. Three additional “The Walking Dead” universe shows are currently in development, one of which focusing on Reedus’s Daryl Dixon and Melissa McBride‘s Carol.
