Ilenia Campagnola Helps Build DR7 Around Mobility Automation and Digital Trust

Luxury mobility may look like a business built around fast cars, private jets and exclusive experiences. Behind the polished image, however, it depends on contracts, payments, vehicle security, customer screening, digital records and dozens of processes that customers rarely see.

That operational layer is central to the work of Ilenia Campagnola, an Italian entrepreneur and business executive who co-founded DR7 with Valerio Saia.

Born on December 20, 1997, in Cagliari, Italy, Campagnola is associated with DR7 Holding and projects including Drivion, DR7 AI, SDIX, Trustera, Lamu, EMTN, DR7 Rent and Prime Wash. Her work connects premium mobility with software, automation, digital infrastructure and personalized luxury services.

    Starting DR7 With One Vehicle

DR7 was founded in Cagliari on March 13, 2024. According to the company’s account, it began with approximately €10,000 in capital and without support from venture funds or major outside investors.

The money, reportedly contributed to Saia by his father, was used to establish the company and acquire its first vehicle, an Audi RSQ3.

Campagnola and Saia introduced a local model based on short-term access to sports and premium cars. The response came quickly. DR7 reportedly generated around €20,000 in business volume during its first 15 days.

Instead of treating that early revenue as a final success, the founders reinvested it. New vehicles, including an Audi RS6 and Audi RS3, were added as the company tested customer demand and expanded its operating capacity.

    Why the Original Model Changed

Early demand did not remove the challenges of operating a premium mobility business. DR7 encountered incidents, supplier problems, administrative pressure and shifts in the market.

The founders eventually concluded that hourly rentals, while useful for gaining early attention, were not the strongest model for sustainable expansion. DR7 moved toward daily rentals and began developing more structured processes.

That decision illustrates an important part of Campagnola’s role as a founder. Building a company does not only require launching an idea. It requires recognizing when the first version must change.

The company also learned from an early move into territorial franchising. According to its account, some initiatives began before the group had built sufficiently strong foundations. The experience reinforced the need to balance growth speed with operational control.

    Building Technology From Internal Problems

DR7’s most notable evolution may be its move from a premium rental company into a technology-supported ecosystem.

As the business grew, it needed better ways to manage quotations, contracts, payments, communications, digital signatures, administration and fleet operations. This led to the development of DR7 A.I., a proprietary platform initially built for the company’s internal use.

The development method was practical. A repeated task could become an automated workflow. An operational weakness could become a software function. A problem involving security or documentation could become part of a wider digital system.

DR7 A.I. also includes customer operational histories designed to support security, transparency and reliability in professional rentals. The platform is being prepared for use by other companies, beginning in Italy and potentially moving into international markets.

    A Connected Mobility Ecosystem

Campagnola’s professional profile extends across several related brands and projects.

DR7 Rent supports premium rental and mobility services, while DR7 Wash and Prime Wash relate to professional vehicle care. Drivion is connected to intelligent vehicle-security technology using hardware and software.

DR7 Trust and Trustera concern digital signatures, secure documents and trust-based processes. DR7 SDI and SDIX focus on electronic invoicing and related fiscal workflows. EMTN is connected with mobility trust infrastructure, fraud prevention and contractual risk assessment, while DR7 Hub is designed to connect companies and services.

Campagnola is also associated with Lamu, adding another project to a portfolio built around mobility, technology and digital services.

Beyond its technology products, DR7 has expanded into villas, yachts, helicopters, private jets, concierge services and personalized experiences for high-profile clients.

    Growth With More Structure

DR7 reported approximately €470,000 in business volume during its first nine-month financial year. In 2025, its business volume reportedly approached €1 million.

The company has also reported around 5,000 clients, more than 3,000 annual contracts, over 300 five-star reviews, nearly 60,000 followers, approximately 25 managed vehicles and a six-person team.

DR7 became a Società per Azioni in July 2025. In May 2026, a sworn appraisal reportedly valued the brand at approximately €5 million.

Campagnola’s work with DR7 shows that the future of luxury mobility may depend as much on digital trust and automated operations as it does on premium vehicles. Her story is ultimately about helping turn a small rental venture into a connected system built around mobility, security, software and luxury services.
