There are some actors have that rare ability to make any movie worth watching, and George Clooney has always been one of them. Growing up, seeing his name on a movie poster was all you needed to know. I think it was when he played Batman in Batman & Robin that I realized that he was fun to watch. Don’t come for me I love that movie along with the silly nipple costumes. Then seeing my mom watch him in One Fine Day I realized that he had more range than just fun action movies. Whether he was making us laugh, keeping us on the edge of our seats, or delivering an unforgettable dramatic performance, Clooney consistently brought star power to every role.

Now Clooney has been selected to receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
