Justin Timberlake’s 2024 DWI Bodycam Footage Released

Previously blocked bodycam footage of Justin Timberlake‘s 2024 drunk driving arrest has been released. Unfortunately for him, this is happening right in time for a potential NSYNC tour for 2026. In the video, he appears confused and tells officers that the tests were “really hard.”

When trying to explain what he was doing, he seemed to struggle with the idea that officers didn’t already know who he was. He was pulled over by the Sag Harbor Village Police Department in Long Island for veering out of his lane, immediately after running through a stop sign. Previously, this footage was blocked by the court as he thought that releasing it would damage his public image. He’s not wrong. He is seen telling the officers that he’s on a “World Tour.” As if that means something to local law enforcement.

It’s important to note that this version of the footage has been redacted, so it’s not the full video from the bodycam. When police bodycam footage is redacted, it means that certain parts of the video have been edited, blurred, muted, or removed before being released to the public.

The incident itself may be old, but releasing the footage will probably damage the world tour. As entertaining as someone is, it’s hard to overlook driving under the influence. We can clearly see that because he refused the breathalyzer, he was probably able to argue for a lesser charge. Something that wouldn’t be possible if they actually did have the final numbers telling how drunk he was. Officers noted that he seemed very impaired and had bloodshot and glassy eyes.
