Unlike most on-screen couples, Spider-Man stars Zendaya and Tom Holland are together in real life, as well. Recent rumors have sparked that the two have secretly tied the knot already. And these rumors are being fueled by fake AI generated photos of their wedding.
Last night, Zendaya was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live and addressed these fake images head-on. Even having a little fun of her own at the silly situation.

On March 3rd a digital creator by the name of Juan Regueira Rodríguez posted the now deleted images to Instagram. Given all the hype around the actors and their new movie these fake photo soon went viral.
“Many people have been fooled by them,” she explained to Jimmy Kimmel. “While I was, like, just out and about in real life, and people were like, ‘Oh my god, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI.’”
When he asked if people got upset with her for not being invited. “Yeah,” she nodded repeatedly.
She then shared a “real” clip from her “real” wedding. The footage was from Zendaya’s newest film, The Drama. It showed a wedding scene with her fiancé’s face crudely pasted over co-star Robert Pattinson’s. Zendaya swears up and down that this footage is real and insists that she was there when it happened.
The Drama opens in theaters nationwide on April 3rd. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will hit theaters on July 31st. You can see Zendaya’s full interview below:
