Logan Paul, America’s favorite WWE bad guy and internet influencer has gone and broken a record no one saw coming. He gloated about it the last Monday Night RAW.

What did he do exactly? He sold a Pokémon card, and the price of this sale will definitely go down in history.

This is probably one of the wildest Pokémon flexes ever. On February 16, he sold his ultra-rare 1998 Pikachu Illustrator Pokémon card. The card was famously set inside a custom diamond necklace. How much did he sell it for? A jaw-dropping $16.49 million. After listing the card at a Goldin online auction! Bidding had only opened the day before at a very high $13.3 million.

The winning bidder? Solari Capital founder AJ Scaramucci. Imagine how unreal it would feel to have that much personal cash laying around. According to Goldin, he showed up at their headquarters in person, allowing the deal and the handoff to wrap up the very same day.

The sale officially broke the roof of the Guinness World Record for the most expensive Pokémon card ever auctioned. Historically, it’s not even the first time this exact card has broken records. Paul originally bought it in 2021 for about $5.27 million. At the time that set a separate record for the most expensive Pokémon card sold privately. Safe to say this piece of Pokémon history keeps leveling up.

Do you think this card could ever sell for even more? Or is it the kind of collector’s trophy you hold onto forever? Let us know what you think.
