Jimmy Eat World Headline at an Arby’s (Yes, The Fast Food Chain)

Arby’s always brags about having “the meats” but never about the restaurant’s alternative rock roots. Well, Jimmy Eat World decided to change all that with a set inside one of the chain’s Daytona, Florida locations.

You want to know the weirdest part? The news and video evidence of the show was first released by the perfectly named motorsports driver, Carson Kvapil.

The set was to promote Arby‘s sponsoring JR Motorsports’ Chevrolet, which Kvapil drives for. Just in time for the Daytona 500 this past weekend.

Kvapil posted a message to X thanking the location for having them, with a video of the band playing “Sweetness.”

We’re also hoping Arby’s fed the band enough to stop Jimmy’s all-consuming hunger for the world.

Stay tuned to Nerdbot for more news about bands playing in odd locations. You can check out part of the set below:

HUGE thanks to @Arbys for having us out at their Daytona location for some @jimmyeatworld!
