Do you love “Yu-Gi-Oh!” and LEGO? Well, we have some great news for you! The building blocks giant is looking for fans of the anime to come up with Ideas to become future sets!

    From LEGO Ideas:

To celebrate the incredible world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, we invite you to believe in the heart of the bricks and showcase your favorite moments from the anime, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters using LEGO Bricks!

To join the game, we want to see your amazing creations which focus on the iconic Battle City and Duelist Kingdom tournaments from the anime!

The Grand Prize Selection for this challenge will see their build turned into a real LEGO Ideas set.

    • Awesome display models of your favorite duelist and their trademark monster (or monsters)!
    • Dynamic dioramas of duels between two iconic characters as seen in the anime – make sure you showcase the duel faithfully as it happened!
    • Cleverly curated monster(s) built into a creative display!

    The Rules:

Your build must not exceed 2000 pieces. Your build must have a minimum of 400 pieces. Your build must focus on Battle City or Duelist Kingdom tournament arcs from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime.

So, best of luck, and let the Heart of the Cards- er, bricks, be with you!

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
