It is with great sadness we share the news of the passing of a comedy icon. Much beloved and decorated Canadian actress Catherine O’Hara has passed away.
O’Hara was widely regarded as one of the most effortlessly funny actresses of her generation. She had a rare ability to be both outrageous and deeply human at the same time, delivering comedy that felt sharp, strange, and completely unforgettable.
She was especially known for creating characters that lingered in pop culture long after the credits rolled. Her performances were fearless, clever, and full of heart.

We most recently saw her in Apple TV’s “The Studio” and HBO’s “The Last of Us.”
There was no immediate cause of death revealed. O’Hara was 71.
