“Masters of the Universe” Gets Official Teaser

Yesterday, it was a tease of a teaser for Amazon MGM Studios’ live-action “Masters of the Universe.” (Which we still kind of hate, by the way. THAT’s WHAT A TEASER IS!!) Inspired by the classic Mattel toyline and animated tv series, Travis Knight (“Bumblebee”) directs from a script by Chris Butler (“Missing Link”). Today, it’s a longer teaser.

Nicholas Galitzine stars as He-Man/Prince Adam. Alison Brie plays Evil-Lyn, Camila Mendes plays Teela, and Idris Elba OBE plays Teela’s father, Man-at-Arms. Sam C. Wilson plays Trap Jaw, Kojo Attah plays Tri-Klops, and Hafthor Bjornsson plays Goat Man. Morena Baccarin will be playing Sorceress, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson will be playing Fisto. James Purefoy will play King Randor, and Charlotte Riley will play Queen Marlena. Sasheer Zamata will play Suzie, Jon Xue Zhang will play Ram-Man, and Christian Vunipola will play Hussein. Kristen Wiig will play Roboto. Jared Leto will be playing Skeletor.
