    Lorena Placeres, actress and media personality, recently attended the worldwide premiere of the new HBO Max series “IT: Welcome to Derry”, which took place at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. The event occurred on October 20, 2025, with an after-party celebrating the launch of the series. 

    A Night at Warner Bros. Studios

    The Warner Bros. Studios serves as the best setting for its latest series worldwide premiere, where guests walked the black carpet, took photos, and enjoyed an early viewing of the first episode. 

    At the event Lorena Placeres made an appearance while proving to be a major part of the creative events within L.A. Her appearance at the premiere is among the memorable black-carpet moments. 

    The after-party featured an immersive horror experience, complete with a thrilling maze where guests encountered the menacing “Pennywise the Clown” up close.

    About the Series: “IT: Welcome to Derry” 

    “IT: Welcome to Derry” is a prequel to the popular IT movies based on Stephen King’s iconic novel. Taking place 27 years before the events of the first movie, the new series dives into the twisted history of Pennywise the Clown and the dark secrets hidden in the town of Derry, Maine.  

    The story is set to showcase the mythology that helped turn the original films into a global success, featuring psychological horror with powerful storytelling. The first episode of “IT: Welcome to Derry” will premiere on October 26, 2025, on HBO and HBO Max. Following its debut, new episodes will be released every Sunday, with the season finale scheduled for December 14, 2025.  

    Lorena Placeres From Premiere Spotlight to Stage and Screen

    Lorena Placeres added her charm to the“IT: Welcome to Derry” premiere, joining guests and industry figures to celebrate the series’ debut. 

    Lorena Placeres made her breakthrough with the chilling role in Cheater, earning widespread praise and contributing to the Best Horror Film win at the 2023 Pageant Film Festival.  

    Recently, Lorena Placeres served as a judge at the 3rd Sunshine Women – Sunshine Girl’s Talent Competition, an inspiring event celebrating creativity and emerging female talent. Her participation as part of the judging panel marked an important recognition of her artistic expertise and growing influence in the entertainment industry.

    A Celebration of Film and Creativity 

    The premiere of “IT: Welcome to Derry” was more than just an industry event; it was a celebration of imagination and collaboration. From the atmospheric set design to the engaging storylines, the series pays tribute to the world that Stephen King created while introducing audiences to new layers of mystery and fear.
