“Welcome Home.”
In the “Fallout” universe, October 23rd, 2077 marks the Great War, a global nuclear conflict that lasted only two hours. The date has become a fan holiday for the popular video game franchise, known as Fallout Day.

Earlier today, the charity Fallout For Hope announced it would be streaming live for the first time from Bethesda Game Studios. The stream is being done to celebrate the organization raising almost $1 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
This celebration will follow the annual Fallout Day Broadcast that will stream on Twitch, YouTube, and Steam. That event will start at 1 P.M. (ET) and will give the latest news about existing “Fallout” games, community celebrations, and upcoming fan events. (Translation: don’t hold your breath for a new game announcement).
The broadcast will be immediately followed by Fallout For Hope’s celebration with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. You can learn more about the charity here.
