Babybel hadn’t really ventured into the realm of spicy cheese alternatives but “stranger things” have happened! That’d a very bad pun that ties into Netflix”s “Stranger Things“ final season, and Babybel is tying themselves to it in a unique way. You may know Babybel for their distinct packaging and shape along with their distinct taste. Well, now it’s going to expand further into other dimensions for your palate.

Babybel introduces Babybel Hellfire Cheese Alternative – the brand’s first-ever spicy variety with a bold kick.

As “Stranger Things” sets to dive into its final season late this November, Babybel is doing its part to honor the Hellfire Club with its new Hellfire Snack Cheese Alternative. Not only is it a plant based cheese instead of being maid from dairy, its also been given a spicy kick, making it the first time ever that Babybel has launched this kind of cheese alternative flavor. Or, as the company puts it themselves, It’s the kind of kick that even Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) would approve of.

But let’s say spicy isn’t your thing, and you prefer dairy products to plant ones. If That’s your pick you can still celebrate one final trip into the upside down with Babybel cheese and their alternate packaging. The Palace arcade, Starcourt Mall, Hawkins High School, and the parity of the real world versus the upside down are all up for grabs if you want to eat your cheese in style. It’d the same great, creamy, Babybel flavor and texture but with a new limited time wrapper.

Babybel takes fans on a trip to the Upside Down with limited-edition “Stranger Things” packaging, featuring Hawkins-inspired designs that take snack time to the next level.

The various cheeses will be rolling out nationwide, starting with the Hellfire cheese at Kroger right now. You’ll also be able to find it at Brookshire and Albertson’s starting this November. The special edition packaging will be available nationwide at major retailers this fall. They’ll continue to be on sale while supplies last until this coming January. Which is perfect timing considering the final season of “Stranger Things” hits January 1st, 2026. So in theory, by the time 2026 rolls around, the cheese and the adventures will have come to a close.
