    Introduction

The thing about K-pop is that it’s always changing and every year, new stars appear. And guess what? 2025 is no different. This year, many rising K-pop singers are releasing fresh songs, cool styles, and giving performances that serve. Some groups are completely new, while others are idols we already know but are starting new chapters in their careers. Debuting solo, collaborating with major brands and what not.

Let’s check out the top 10 rising K-pop singers of 2025!

    1. TWS Real Life, Real Emotions.

Under Pledis Entertainment is a boy group, TWS.  They debuted in 2024 with Plot Twist, a song that quickly got popular because of its honest lyrics about youth. Instead of only focusing on flashy looks, TWS shares real feelings through their music.

Now they are already drawing the notice of large players such as Billboard and NME. Their fans enjoy their cozy atmosphere and the fact that their music seems the story of a friend. TWS is particularly relatable among all of the new K-pop singers.

    2. KickFlip- New Power Group of JYP.

One of the big four K-pop companies, JYP Entertainment, launched KickFlip in January 2025. Their first EP, Flip It, Kick It!, demonstrates their strong skills in dancing and their strong energy. Fans were already over-the-top even before their release with their pre-release single Umm Great.

The Recording Academy (the Grammy team) even said they’re one of the rookie groups to watch this year. Fans think they have the same star power as older JYP groups like Stray Kids and ITZY.

    3. Ifeye – Turning Dreams Into Music

Ifeye, a six-member kpop girl group, debuted in April 2025. Their name is abbreviated for Imagine & Find, Energetic Young Eyes. It matches their dream of turning imagination into reality.

Their debut EP Erlu Blue has bright, catchy songs  and they also went viral on TikTok with one of their dance challenges. Ifeye is young, stylish, and ready to join the new wave of girl groups leading K-pop right now.

    4. Xlov – A Bold New Idea

Xlov is one of the most original debuts of 2025. It is not just a boy group or a girl group as that. Instead, they are genderless in theme, which is against the time-honored norms in K-pop.

Their music incorporates hip hop and R&B and is combined with the energy of K-pop. Their bold fashion and music videos have already made fans talk online, and many international fans especially love them for being different and for showing that K-pop can welcome everyone.

    5. Big Ocean – Inspiring Millions

Big Ocean is a boy group with a very special story. The group consists of members that are hard-of-hearing and it’s the first such group that debuted in K-pop. They made their debut in 2024 with the song Glow.

    7. Katseye – Global Girls Taking Over

Katseye isn’t a typical K-pop group. It was formed through a Geffen Records and HYBE project, the group includes members from the U.S., Europe, and Asia. That means they’re global from the very start.

They debuted with huge attention, even performing at the 2025 MTV VMAs preshow. Their song Gnarly became viral, and their fans are cheering them among the people of various countries around the world.

    8. ARTMS A New Chapter after LOONA.

The LOONA fans were devastated by the problems of the group and its imminent disbandment, but in 2024, some of its members reunited as the ARTMS under ModHaus.

Their debut album DALL and its single Virtual Angel revealed a new futuristic approach. They are not only popular among fans as a result of their music but also strength. ARTMS shows how idols can come out of trouble on the other side and be better people than they were initially.

    9. Yeji – solo debut of ITZY’s Leader

Yeji made her solo debut in March 2025 with EP Air. Her songs mix dreamy synth-pop and electronic beats and its sound is totally different from the songs ITZY’s usually make.

Her EP quickly gained millions of streams and her solo work proves that she’s not just a group leader, she’s also a talented artist on her own. Many believe she will become one of the top solo K-pop singers in the future.

    10. 1VERSE – Music With a Message

1VERSE made one of the most important debuts of 2025.  It is composed of five members, among whom two are North Korean defectors. Their first song Shattered speaks of the struggle, dreams, and healing. They are the earliest group to introduce North Korean idols as well.

Besides producing catchy music, the group is also disseminating hope and unity.
