Khuzaima Yamman’s Career Journey from Bab Alomda Info Tech to Founding Kzy Digital

After almost two years at Bab Alomda Info Tech, I realized it was time for a change. It was March 2024, and although I genuinely enjoyed my work there, I felt like I had hit a ceiling. I loved the projects I was involved in, but growth opportunities seemed limited. I wanted to make a more substantial impact on digital marketing, but there were always financial and resource restrictions that prevented me from working at the scale I knew I was capable of. The more I thought about it, the clearer it became that I needed to branch out on my own. That’s when I decided to take the leap and start my own agency.

As someone passionate about digital marketing especially in the areas of SEO, paid media, and data-driven campaigns. I wanted the freedom to experiment, scale, and innovate. I envisioned creating strategies that didn’t just meet KPIs, but transformed businesses. Eventually, I realized that I couldn’t keep waiting for the perfect opportunity to come along. I would have to create it myself.

    Starting Kzy Digital

In April 2024, I took the plunge and founded Kzy Digital focused on website maintenance services. Initially, I relied on my savings to fund the business and kicked things off with a single focus—helping businesses grow through ROI-driven digital marketing. My vision for Kzy Digital was always clear: deliver high-quality, measurable results in SEO, paid media, social media marketing, and beyond.

At first, it was just me—working long hours and wearing all hats, from strategy to client relations to technical execution. But over the course of the first year, Kzy Digital began to grow, and today we’re a small but mighty team of five people.

What makes us unique is our ability to merge creative strategy with performance-driven execution, offering clients the best of both worlds. Our team is made up of digital marketing experts, including former specialists from Google and Meta, who bring years of industry experience and innovation to every project.

The Biggest Change: From Full-Time to Founder

Leaving a structured office environment and transitioning to being a Chief Technology Officer running my own agency was a huge shift. I went from working in a collaborative team with a clear chain of command to being the person in charge, making every decision. The hardest part for me was the solitude—there’s something quite different about working alone in a room versus working in a vibrant office.

Currently, I work from home most of the time, occasionally visiting coworking spaces in Dubai, but that sense of independence and responsibility has become incredibly fulfilling. I now have complete control over my vision and my ambitions.

    No Regrets, Just Growth

Starting Kzy Digital was the right choice for me, and I don’t regret a single decision. I always had the dream of running my own agency, but it wasn’t until I took that bold step that I realized how much I was capable of. The journey hasn’t been without challenges—every day is a learning experience, but those early hurdles taught me invaluable lessons.

Mentorship and continuous self-learning played a major role in my transition from employee to entrepreneur. I spent a lot of time building my skills, staying updated on industry trends, and ensuring I had the knowledge needed to grow Kzy Digital effectively.

    Looking Ahead

Now that Kzy Digital has gained traction, my focus is on building a strong foundation for the long term. We’re continually refining our strategies to stay ahead of the curve and push the boundaries of digital marketing, ensuring that our clients continue to see exceptional growth.

As we expand and take on more clients, I’m excited for what the future holds. My journey from Bab Alomda Info Tech to running Kzy Digital has been challenging, but it’s also been the most rewarding experience of my career.
