Snapchat has a planet system for sorting your best friends, and we’ll explain how it works.

We’re going to explain how the Friends Solar System works on Snapchat, a feature for Snapchat+ subscribers. With it, you’ll see a badge on your best friends’ profiles, and when you tap on it, each of these people will be assigned a planet.

Let’s start by explaining exactly how this trait works, what it means, and how many friendships can be considered best. Then, we’ll tell you what order the Snapchat planets have, what this order means, and why each person is assigned a planet.

    What isSnapchat’sSolar System?

Snapchat’s Solar System is part of the “Unique Friendships” feature within Snapchat Plus (a premium subscription service). This feature categorizes your closest friends using planets in the solar system.

Basically, each friend is assigned a planet based on the interaction and connection level you have with them within the respective app. It’s important to mention that to use this feature, you must have a Snapchat Plus subscription, and both you and your friend must have it activated.

What is the order of the planets?

There are 8 planets to divide among your 8 best friends. These are the actual planets of the Solar System, and the closer this actual planet is to the sun, the higher this friend will rank on the best friend list. So, it’s also a way for you to learn about the planets.

This is the list of planets and their order. Remember that in this visualization, you are the sun, followed by the rest of the planets. We’ll tell you the order, so number 1 is the closest and your closest friend.

    Mercury

In the Snap solar system, Mercury is theclosest planet to the sun, meaning it represents the friend who interacts with you the most on Snapchat. You’re also the one who interacts with them the most on the social network.

Your first best friend Snap planet is recognizable by its pink color on which you will find red hearts.

    Venus

Venus, on the other hand, represents your second best friend planet Snap. It’s a sandy planet on which you’ll seepink, yellow, and blue hearts.

    Earth

Earth is a blue planet with green continents, and is represented byred hearts . It represents a friend who often sends you chats and shares streaks with you. It is your 3rd closest best friend snap planet.

    Mars

Mars is a red planet on which you will find blue and purple hearts . It is the fourth planet in the snap solar system and therefore means that the person is fourthin your friends list ranking.

    Jupiter

Jupiter, the fifth planet in your Snap Solar System, is a brown planet adorned with rings. It sometimes shares content with you, and you occasionally interact with it. The planet is represented by yellow and blue hearts.

    Saturn

Saturn is the yellow planet with rings and yellow and blue hearts. It is the sixth planet in your Snapchat friends’ solar system.

    Uranus

Uranus, second to last on the list, is a friend who rarely interacts with you on Snap. It’s the seventh Snapchat planet. It’s a green-blue planet adorned with rings and on which you’ll see yellow and blue hearts.

    Neptune

Neptune is obviously the last on the list. It’s the most distant planet. This is a friend who almost never shares content, chats, or clips with you.The eighth planet is dark blue and is represented by yellow and blue hearts.

In short, the planets closest to the sun represent the closeness of friendship you have with the person according to Snapchat.

How to watch Snapchat’s Solar System?

You won’t need to download third-party apps to access this feature, as it’s extremely easy to view Snapchat’s Solar System. If you have Snapchat Plus, you can access this feature by following the steps below:

    ● Open the Snapchat app.

    ● Go to the “Friends” section.

    ● Select a contact’s profile.

    ● If you and your friend both have Snapchat Plus enabled, you’ll see a small star or solar system icon next to their name.

    ● By clicking on that icon, you will discover which planet your friend represents in your solar system.

If you can’t see the Snapchat Solar System after following the steps above, it may be because you or your friend haven’t activated it. Remember, you must subscribe to Snapchat Plus for the feature to appear on your account.

    Conclusion

In short, Snapchat’s Solar System is a very creative way to visualize all your friendships and celebrate your close connections. While it requires a Snapchat Plus subscription (you’ll have to spend money), the value it adds to the user experience is unique. Remember that Snapchat Plus is free in some countries, so you can try this feature without spending a dime.
