Here we are again, waiting for a new Superman movie to hit theaters next month. We’ve been here before, several times, in fact. And each time, the world waits to see what the new Last Son of Krypton brings to the pantheon of DC Comics’ greatest heroes. On that note, what’s going on with one of the other notable founding members of the JLA, Wonder Woman?

Well, back in February of 2023, James Gunn and Peter Safran announced the launch of DC Studios, a new arm of Warner Bros. Pictures. Along with the launch came a slew of planned projects like the aforementioned new Superman, a Supergirl project, Green Lantern, and even a Wonder Woman prequel series based on Phil Jimenez and the late, great George Pérez‘s iconic “Paradise Lost” story.
While we don’t have any new information on the prequel other than it being in development still, we do know that yet ANOTHER Diana of Themyscira project is in the works, too.

“We’re working on Wonder Woman,” Gunn told Entertainment Weekly. “Wonder Woman‘s being written right now.”
He continued, saying this Wonder Woman project is “a separate thing” from the “Paradise Lost” series. He describes the progress on it as “slow moving, but it’s moving.”
“It’s almost like ‘Game of Thrones ‘with Westeros but with all the inhabitants of Paradise Island,” Gunn said.
Obviously, we’ll let you know what we hear about a creative team and casting for both “Paradise Lost” and this mystery “Wonder Woman” project.
