We are SO READY for Britain’s loudest band to return! Rob Reiner‘s classic 1984 mockumentary film “This is Spinal Tap” remains one of those timeless comedies everyone needs to watch. It holds up! It set the tone for many projects that came after it! And how catchy are those songs? So, imagine our excitement with Reiner announced his old pal Marty DiBergi was going to make and release another film with the lads from Spinal Tap.
Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer return as Nigel Tufnel, David St. Hubbins, and Derek Smalls. No word on who’s playing drums this time. There is even a new book fans can pre-order from Simon and Schuster, “A Fine Line Between Stupid and Clever,” which Reiner co-wrote with Guest, McKean, and Shearer.
Bleecker Street will be handling the flick, which will hit theaters on September 12th, 2025.
