Harrison Ford is taking on the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who was originally played by the late William Hurt. Liv Tyler, who played Betty Ross (the General’s daughter), will be joining the film, making the character’s official MCU debut.

Anthony Mackie‘s Sam Wilson has become Captain America. Carl Lumbly will be back as Isaiah Bradley, the original super soldier. We first saw him appear in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” alongside Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Danny Ramirez is also returning as Joaquin Torres. Tim Blade Neslon will play Samuel Sterns (a.k.a. the Leader). Giancarlo Esposito will be the villain, Sidewinder.

Malcolm Spellman (“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” series creator) penned the script for “Captain America 4” along with Dalan Musson. Julius Onah is directing.

“Captain America: Brave New World” hits theaters February 14th, 2025.
