Tom Holland and Zendaya Are Apparently Engaged!

Over the weekend, the 82nd Annual Golden Globes award ceremony took place. The usual red carpet madness ensued- incredible garments, vintage pieces, couture pieces, and jewelry all adorned the nominees and presenters. One bling in particular has captured the attention of pretty much all the big news sites as Zendaya, nominated for her starring role in “Challengers,” was sporting a very large diamond on a certain finger.

Sure, actresses get to wear big statement pieces from all the major designers for awards shows and carpet appearances, so this wasn’t that out of the ordinary. BUT, it was the finger she was wearing the ring on that started rumors swirling.

Rumors that good ol’ TMZ is touting as fact now, citing “a source” who claims sometime over the holidays, “Spider-Man” star Tom Holland proposed to Zendaya. You can read that bit of reporting here. PEOPLE has since echoed the story, their own source seemingly confirming the happy news.

The pair were first rumored to be a couple back in 2016 while filming Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” So, whether or not they actually are engaged, they sure are adorable. They’re both expected to return for a fourth Spider-Man film sometime in the near future. We’ll let you know what we hear about that and other news.

Let’s all watch the greatest “Lip Sync Battle” to celebrate.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
