Did you watch the teaser trailer for James Gunn’s upcoming “Superman” movie and think; “These characters look too human?” Well, fear not because 3D artist/animator Trevor Carlee has got you covered. Yesterday, Carlee released his LEGO animated version of the trailer, for the plastic enthusiasts among us.
This isn’t Carlee’s first time adapting a beloved IP into this style, either. The artist has already done the trailer for “Deadpool & Wolverine,” and clips from shows like “Community,” “Modern Family,” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
His latest venture took him only six days to create and looks as good as things we’ve seen in the “LEGO Movie” franchise. Gunn even shared Carlee’s work on social media. If that isn’t validating fan-made art, we don’t know what is.
