    “Lilo & Stitch” Teaser Pokes Fun at “Mufasa: The Lion King”

    Leave it to Disney to make fun of their own releases. This seems to be the theme for all the teasers and posters we’re getting for the upcoming live-action remake of “Lilo & Stitch.” This morning, it was a good-natured joke at the expense of “Mufasa: The Lion King.”

    Dean Fleischer Camp (“Marcel the Shell with Shoes On“) directs. Newcomer Maia Kealoha will bring Lilo to life in the film. Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis also star.

    “Lilo & Stitch” is set to hit theaters May 23rd, 2025.
