BLACKZERO Tools are Our Number One Pick for Gifting in 2024

All my life I’ve wanted to invest in a nice tool set. You can usually piece together the necessities, costing more than a pretty penny. Or take a risk with some unknown modge podge of tools on Temu or some other cheapy site and pray that the tools last long enough to finish the job. When BLACKZERO reached out to me to review their tools I was happy to be getting a free tool set, but also skeptical because I hadn’t heard of them as much as Craftsman or Black & Decker. I also had just ordered shelves for my daughter’s room so I figured what the heck I’ll give it a shot.

Our walls here are made of plaster and don’t hold things well unless you drill and anchor, and I hadn’t had the tools to do it properly so I avoided hanging anything up at all costs. I’ve always been pretty nervous about messing things up from not knowing what I was doing. I’m happy to say though with the help of BLACKZERO’s drill and amazing assortment of drill bits, I was able to do the job all by myself. As a girl, it’s really nice when you don’t have to wait for someone else to do something for you because you’re unsure or not mechanical. This was a big win for me.

Not only did they send me the drill to try, they also sent me everything I’d ever want for fix it jobs around the house. One set that came with measuring tape, a hammer, a screwdriver with assorted bits and a few more things was perfect for finally fixing my wobbly desk and dining table.

The other thing they sent me which must have been blessed by the angels, was a box full of picture hanging hardware and anchors. I’ve been fighting with the place we’re renting because they didn’t anchor the blinds in the wall and just screwed them in. Every other day I’ve had a blind fall on my head for about 3 months. Now since they sent me anchors, I can finally fix things right.

The drill itself is really cool, has a touch screen, AND uses a USB-C to charge it. You don’t have to take any battery out like you do with Ryobi. Yes it’s nice all their tools have the same battery, but it’s kind of a pain if you only have one and multiple accessories. Some of the other features are things I don’t particularly understand, but I’ll put it here for those that do. I just know it works well and it feels good in your hand, and that’s really enough for me. Taking from the Amazon description, it has a smart LED display, Precise torque regulation, reaching 60N·m. Intelligent display shows 5 gears, and up to 1000r/min can be precisely adjusted from 1 to 5 speeds in self-selecting mode; The integrated brushless motor, designed for a steady and no spark operation, brings high power efficiency. 1600mAh rechargeable battery can screw 850 screws after fully charged. The Type-C charging port is ready to charge and can charge your cell phone.

I also really appreciated that the storage for all the tools is easily transportable and collapsible. It looks really sheik because the sets all stack up to create one easy movable box configuration. And that the tool sets are clearly marked on the front of each of the boxes so you don’t have to guess and open each box before you find what you’re looking for.

I fully recommend this as a gift idea if you know any newlyweds or craftsmen in the family. This set would have been one of the coolest things to get after I got married and I wish they had existed back then. If you’re looking for something to put under the tree this year, or a great gift for Hanukkah this is the one to get.
