Universal Pictures is backing an upcoming, currently untitled film from Steven Spielberg (“The Fabelmans”). Josh O’Connor (“Challengers,” “The Crown“) is the newest actor to join the reported science fiction project. He joins the previously announce Emily Blunt (“Oppenheimer”), Colman Domingo (“Rustin”), Colin Firth (“Rye Lane”), and Eve Hewson (“Bad Sisters”).
Spielberg will direct from a script by David Koepp (“Jurassic Park”). Kristie Macosko Krieger, a long-time associate of Spielberg’s, is attached to produce.
Outside of the cast and some crew little is known about the project. Universal currently has the film slated for release on May 15, 2026. We’ll keep you posted on updates about this and other news.
