Being married to a real sci-fi nerd, one of the problems I’ve encountered is finding home décor that pleases us both. I’m very much a collector of all things, but he’s got more of a classic taste. This lamp scratches both itches with it’s cool design and functionality. Plus, it’s a good reason for me to turn the light on when we’re watching “Alien” together.
For a lot of folks dark = scarier. And I don’t do well with horror films.
The Xenomorph Lamp
Mystery Factory has created an LED lamp that would class up any nerdy home. Since it’s an LED, it can light up blue, green, and red. Everything is handmade then digitally altered and finally 3d printed with the most accurate machines. Then the painting and the touch ups are added manually.
The lamp is made of resin. A lot of work has been put in to the design, which was of course inspired by the work of H.G Giger, the Creator of Alien.
