    Celebrimbor and the “Rings of Power”- Match Made in Mordor

    This has got to be probably our favorite thing we saw during San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) this year. Yes, there was A LOT of news throughout the annual nerdfest. But, mostly because “The Lord of the Rings” remains one of our favorite fandoms, this featurette from Prime Video’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” was the absolute standout.

    Maybe because we heard Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards) speak the most important words in the whole of the saga. And, he does it PERFECTLY. IN BLACK SPEECH! But that moment isn’t in THIS video like it was for us in the panel, and we’re very upset. Maybe they’re holding on to that clip until closer to the show. Just…take our word for it- it was AWESOME.

    What we DO see in this featurette is the rings being forged, and some teases of what’s to come.

    “The Rings of Power” returns for season 2 on August 29th, 2024.
