it seems like Joe and Anthony Russo are currently in talks to return to Disney’s Marvel Studios.
According to industry sources and insiders, the Russo Brothers are eyeing directing the upcoming 5th and 6th “Avengers“ films. Of course things haven’t been going well for the feature film division of late. “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” and “Loki” star Jonathan Majors was arrested and charged with assault, causing lots of questions about the future of “Avengers: Kang Dynasty” (aka “Avengers 5.”) There have been multiple writing and directing changes on that project. Just like “Blade,” which we are doubtful will even happen at this point.
Chances are, this is some of the big news the studio was planning to announce during next week’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) Saturday panel.
