This morning Marvel Studios released the first official teaser for their upcoming film, “Captain America: Brave New World.” Anthony Mackie is back as Cap, and this time he’s joined by new and returning characters from the MCU.


Harrison Ford is taking on the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who was originally played by the late William Hurt. Liv Tyler, who played Betty Ross (the General’s daughter), will be joining the film, making the character’s official MCU debut.

Mackie‘s Sam Wilson has become Captain America. We are very pleased to report Carl Lumbly will be back as Isaiah Bradley, the original super soldier. We first saw him appear in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” alongside Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Danny Ramirez is also returning as characterJoaquin Torres. Tim Blade Neslon will play Samuel Sterns (a.k.a. the Leader).

Giancarlo Esposito has also joined the cast, in a still-to-be-named villainous role.
Malcolm Spellman (“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” series creator) penned the script for “Captain America 4” along with Dalan Musson. Julius Onah is directing. Filming is currently underway in Atlanta, GA.
