Studying Politics, philosophy, and economics at Cambridge (PPE) offers one a springboard to a career in finance, politics, or the media. I chose Cambridge because it is globally recognized as one of the best academic settings that help mold outstanding students in politics, philosophy, politics, and economics. Besides me, a huge number of applicants study there every year.

I left PPE program with an unparalleled understanding of modern media, societies, and political institutions thanks to the rigorous syllabus of PPE, which ensures that each student, with their critical evaluation, brings about a significant change in the social and political sphere.

    What is PPE Cambridge?

PPE is a joint honors degree for students who are interested in carving out a career and making a noticeable impact in the social and political spheres. Personally, I can evaluate it as a very dynamic program with a varied nature of three parts. The variety offers students solid foundations from which to gain discipline, knowledge, and skills to excel in social and political societies.

How I Prepared for PPE Oxbridge

Getting selected to attend Oxbridge may sound like a lofty prospect, what with the myths and rumors. From my experience, I will be offering a guide on how to apply for a course at Oxbridge and enhance your chances of getting selected. Let us get right into it.

Write an Outstanding PPE Oxford Personal Statement

In granting admission to applicants, Oxbridge places significant priority on their personal statements. Through a personal statement, they gain insights into the student’s extracurricular activities, past educational records, unique strengths, and abilities that will give them an edge in excelling in the course they are applying to.

While writing a PPE personal statement, I ensured that I had to be original. The information that I penned down in the statement was concocted. The politics personal statement offered me an opportunity to sell myself. While selling yourself, you should not be insincere with the image of yourself you are presenting. Ensure that you include every piece of information that will make you get selected.

    Practice Past Papers

You would be required to write the Thinking Skills Assessment Test, which is an essential part of the application process. This test is a means to evaluate your academic background and see if you have what it takes to navigate to the succeeding stages of the admission process.

It is important that you prepare adequately before the exams, and studying past papers is a great way to achieve this aim. Past papers offer you a window into what to expect in the actual test. They simulate the actual test in terms of the structure of questions and more.

Study the past papers from many years back. You should ensure to answer the questions within a time limit. One of the challenges that many students face when writing Oxbridge tests is that they do not get to answer many questions within a short time. By studying past papers, you would work on your speed to answer many questions and possibly get to the end of the paper. More so, by practicing past papers, you will be familiarizing yourself with the situations that come with the real test.

Solicit the Services of a Professional PPE Oxbridge Tutor

Getting under the tutelage of someone experienced in the admission processes of Oxbridge can give you an advantage in making the most of the application process. I once encountered tutors at Oxbridge Mind who were of great help to me in preparing Oxbridge’s PPE tests. I accessed numerous past papers that helped me prepare adequately for the TSA exam. More so, I practiced lots of Oxford PPE personal statement samples.

    Get Ready For an Interview

After your application has been reviewed and they feel that your academic record and skills are up to scratch, it is likely that you will be called for an interview. You stand a chance of getting selected if you portray yourself very well in your personal statement PPE. Oxbridge mostly interviews the majority of its applicants within the first two weeks of December.

Oxbridge interviews can be different from the interviews at other universities. You will be attending several interviews with different tutors. Due to this, accommodation and food will be provided for you. Some interviews are one-to-one, but there is a chance you will have at least one-panel interview included.

Prior to the interview, you should make notes on why you are applying, know the course syllabus, know your personal statement, and have background knowledge of the university. You will boost your chances of getting selected if you can provide them with good answers to questions in the above areas.

Is Studying PPE at Oxbridge Difficult?

Studying PPE at Oxbridge can be challenging, but that does not make it unachievable. The syllabus can be rigorous, but it is all geared towards ensuring that the students are well taught all they need to succeed in social and political careers.

What Score Do You Need to Get in the TSA for PPE?

The average score needed to get into the TSA changes every year. However, in the past years, the average score needed hovers between 75.14 and 75.39. it is, therefore important that you prepare thoroughly and aim for the highest score possible to maximize your chances.
