Jeremy Clarkson Named UK, Ireland’s Sexiest Man

Each year IllicitEncounters, self described as “the best online dating site for married people,” runs a poll for the sexiest man alive. Former “Top Gear” host Jeremy Clarkson has been crowned the winner for the second year in a a row. Clarkson beat out men like Prince William, Idris Elba, and Cillian Murphy for the title.

Jeremy Clarkson, “Clarkson Farm” Amazon Prime Video

The poll itself surveys 2,000 of IllicitEncounters’ female members. They are asked to score a list of 50 of the past year’s most culturally relevant names from most to least sexy. Each name is scored from one to ten based on their perceived level of sexiness.

    Rankings

Clarkson scored an impressive nine out of ten points in the annual poll. This year also saw the addition of Tom Holland (“Spider-Man“) who took 2nd place with a score of eight points. William, Prince Of Wales shot up to 3rd place after coming in almost dead last the previous year. However, his bother, Prince Harry, didn’t fair as well finishing 47th on the list.

4th place went to professional football manager and former player Gareth Southgate. Cillian Murphy (“Oppenheimer”) took 5th place in this year’s list. The rest of the top ten consists of Idris Elb (“Luther”), comedian Romesh Ranganathan, Sam Thompson (“Made in Chelsea”), athlete Russ Cook, and Dermot O’Leary (“This Morning”).

    Ryan Reynolds, YouTube

There were also some upsets from the list this year. With journalist Piers Morgan dropping from 17th place last year to 40th this year. Former rugby union player Mike Tindall dropped from 3rd to 29th place and Ryan Reynolds (“Deadpool”) went from 4th to 26th.

    Reactions

“Clarkson and his farm is a bit like Noah’s ark and just like the animal’s in that story, his victory in the Sexiest Man vote has come in twos,” Jessica Leoni, spokesperson at Illicitencounters.com, said. “We all know about his brash persona, but the latest series of Diddly Squat has shown he can tug at heartstrings too – and clearly his famer look continues to set hearts racing. Just like last year’s poll, we knew providing our members with a list of 50 famous names across both genders and asking them to score them on their ‘sexiness’ would throw up some surprises – we’re not putting it past Clarkson to go for the three-peat next year!”

While some parts of the internet may be up in arms about Clarkson’s dad bod taking the title, we’d like to remind readers that sexiness is comprised of many factors. Hitting the gym and staying fit doesn’t make someone attractive if they have the personality of a jar of mayonase.
