A series based on the Bene Gesserit sisterhood from Frank Herbert‘s seminal work of science fiction, “Dune.” Set 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atredies, “Dune Prophecy” is based on Brian Herbert (son of Frank) and Kevin J. Anderson‘s “Sisterhood of Dune” novel.

It stars Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel (“Vikings“), Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, and Yerin Ha.
The official series logline reads:
“10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.”
While it doesn’t have a release date yet, there IS a teaser that was released during Warner Bros. Discovery’s upfront presentation this morning. The series was originally titled “Dune: Sisterhood.” The first season will consist of 6 episodes.
