“Him,” is directed by by Justin Tipping (“Kicks”), based on a spec script by “Limetown”’s Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie. It is produced by Universal and Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions.

    The Plot For “Him“

In the film, a legendary quarterback (Wayans) is retiring but tasked with training a rising young athlete (Tyriq Withers). The duo decide to train at the aging athlete’s isolated compound. “Him” promises to deliver a “blood-chilling journey into the inner sanctum of fame, power and the pursuit of excellence at any cost.”

The film also stars Julia Fox (“No Sudden Move”), Tim Heidecker (“Killing It”), comedian Jim Jefferies, and Grammy nominee Tierra Whack. “Him” will also be the feature film debut of Guapdad 4000.

Peele will produce “Him” along with Ian Cooper, Win Rosenfeld, and Jamal Watson for Monkeypaw. David Kern and Monkeypaw’s Kate Oh will executive produce.

“Him” will hit theaters on September 19th, 2025. We will keep you posted on updates about the film as it develops.
