In the four-part animated series, “LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy“, the familiar “Star Wars” universe is thrust into chaos. The ordinary nerf-herder Sig Greebling inadvertently stumbles upon a rare artifact known as the Cornerstone, tucked away in a concealed Jedi temple. Propelled into an adventure, he finds himself in a surreal and distorted version of the galaxy. Heroes have become villains, villains have morphed into heroes, and the destiny of the universe rests solely on Sig’s heroism. His newfound purpose? To reconstruct the jumbled galaxy, piece by piece.

The vocal ensemble boasts Gaten Matarazzo as Sig Greebling, Tony Revolori as Dev Greebling, Bobby Moynihan las Jedi Bob, and Marsai Martin as Yesi Scala. In addition, Michael Cusack voices Servo, Ahmed Best reprises his role as Jar Jar and becomes Darth Jar Jar, and Mark Hamill reprises his iconic role of Luke Skywalker. The project is executive produced by a team including Dan Hernandez, Benji Samit, James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, Josh Rimes, Jill Wilfert, Jason Cosler, and Keith Malone. With Chris Buckley directing and Daniel Cavey and Dan Langlois in charge of production.

The teaser provides an intriguing sneak peek into the comically entertaining combinations found in “LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy.” It includes Ewok bounty hunters, Geonosian Jedi, and a Darth Jar Jar who says, “Mesa going to hurt yousa!”

“LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy,” comes to Disney+ on September 13th.
