It’s always a sad thing when one of your favorite shows ends. Even moreso when the cast, crew, and creators are such a big part of the fandom, that you can feel their sadness too. Okay maybe that’s a comfort thing as well- to know they feel strongly about the project, and are fans just like us. This brings us to the pretty heartbreaking news that “What We Do In The Shadows” has had their last table read ever, for their last episode ever.

Harvey Guillén, “What We Do In The Shadows” FX Networks

Back in December of 2023, FX announced the undead comedy series was getting a 6th and final season. Amazing in many ways, really, that a show like that successfully found an audience that loves it so much. Of course, the cast have been some of the biggest cheerleaders for the show, which yes, is based on Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement‘s 2014 film of the same name.

Series star Harvey Guillén shared a photo of the title page for the final episode as well as a video of co-star Kayvan Novak echoing what fans are feeling.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
