In what some fans are calling a long-overdue honor, filmmaker Christopher Nolan and his longtime producing partner Emma Thomas will be receiving a Knighthood and Damehood, respectively. The British government announced the news, citing the pair’s contribution to film.
Dame Emma Thomas and Sir Christopher Nolan certainly have a nice ring to them, don’t they?
Nolan won his first directing Oscar this year for “Oppenheimer,” after being nominated six times. Thomas, who happens to also be Nolan’s wife, gave the acceptance speech for Best Film.
No details about when the ceremony will take place were revealed.
