LEGO Teases Official Dungeons & Dragons Collection

You know that thing every single year where almost everyone knows to avoid the dreaded date of April first to announce news or release something? Apparently LEGO missed that memo, as they’ve just announced their official Dungeons & Dragons collab will drop on April 1st.

The fact that they had to make the marketing push include the words “no joke” maybe means delaying launch by a day or two would’ve been the better bet?

We’ll finally get to see the sets in roughly 17 hours, so we’re excited for that.

(This is not an official art release, but we can only hope we get a gelatinous LEGO cube!)

    LEGO® Ideas DUNGEONS & DRAGONS-

All campaigns are unique. This will be no exception.

Many adventures lie ahead, with more than a hint of danger. But you’ll be facing them alongside your party of brave adventurers, all ready to put their best bricks forward.

    Prepare for fire-breathing foes and… erm… oh, what’s the word… perilous, trap-filled, underground lairs?

Alright D&D and LEGO fans. No joke, landing April 1st, a set that brings boundless adventures and endless play together. That and a bunch of legendary creatures. Don’t miss out. Sign up for updates https://t.co/9YgMzaYpYq #LEGODnD pic.twitter.com/HQwx8n9wgu

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
