    Bohemian Rhapsody

    An Oscar winning movie celebrating the British rock band Queen, and one of the movies based on a true story on Netflix written by Anthony McCarten and Peter Morgan, directed by Bryan Singer, and starring Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Allen Leech, Tom Hollander and Mike Myers.

    The movie is about the music band Queen and their lead singer Freddie Mercury, and how this band become the most beloved on earth in a short time. It lets us listen again to their iconic songs and their special music and voices.

    The Pianist

    Another one of the movies based on a true story on Netflix about the life story of the Polish Jewish musician Wladyslaw Szpilman, the movie is written by Ronald Harwood and Wladyslaw Szpilman, directed by Roman Polanski, and starring Adrien Brody, Thomas Kretschmann, Frank Finlay, Emilia Fox, Michal Zebrowski, Ed Stoppard, Maureen Lipman and Jessica Kate Meyer.

    Wladyslaw Szpilman is a great pianist living in Warsaw during World War II. He is forced to live with his family in a Jewish Ghetto, and he hid in various places until the end of the war.

    The Revenant

    Hugh Glass is a hunter living in 1823. He is used to exploring the forest and hunting, until one day he got attacked by a brutal bear. He was injured very badly and his team left him behind.

    But Hugh Glass has great survival skills and he finds his way home. He needs to avoid the enemies along the way and get his revenge from the traitors, especially John Fitzgerald.

    Movie Time: 2 hours and 36 minutes.

    The Good Nurse

    A true crime and one of the movies based on a true story on Netflix written by Charles Graeber and Krysty Wilson-Cairns, directed by Tobias Lindholm and starring Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Denise Pillott, Dartel McRae, Joseph Fugelo, Judith Delgado, Jesus-Papoleto Melendez, and Myra Lucretia Taylor.

    Amy is a good nurse and a beloved mother; she pushes herself to her limits physically and emotionally to do everything she can for her kids and patients. She is suffering from a heart malfunction and she is desperately in need for someone to help her during the night shifts.

    At last, the hospital sent another nurse to help her, his name is Charlie. Amy and Charlie become good friends, but the story doesn’t end there, because after Charlie came the death rate elevated in a suspicious way and all guilty fingers point towards him. Amy risks everything to find the truth. Could she reveal it successfully?

    Erin Brockovich

    Erin Brockovich is a single mother trying hard to find a job to take care of herself and her kids, she gets in car accident with a doctor, and she loses the lawsuit against the doctor. 

    Her lawyer gives her a job in his office as a compensation, soon she is involved in the job and investigates a real estate case against Pacific Gas & Electric Company. She discovers serious information about deadly toxic waste the company is dumping into the environment; making the residents in the area ill. Erin helps her office to prove the crime and win the lawsuit.

    Julie & Julia

    A wholesome addition to the movies based on a true story on Netflix. It is full of romance and passion, written by Nora Ephron, Julie Powell and Julia Child, directed by Nora Ephron, and starring Amy Adams, Meryl Streep, Chris Messina, Stanley Tucci, Linda Emond, Helen Carey, Mary Lynn Rajskub, and Jane Lynch.

    Julie Powell is a blogger who loves cooking, and she admires Julia Child who started her career in cooking earlier and became a famous chief presenting a famous cooking show.

    The film follows both Julia and Julie’s life stories and their struggles before they made their dreams come true.

    Catch Me If You Can

    The life story of Frank Abagnale Jr. who conned a lot of people before his 19th birthday and collected million of dollars, working as a pilot, doctor, lawyer and many other jobs until one FBI agent makes it his mission in life to catch him and put him in jail.

    The Professor and the Madman

    Another one of the movies based on a true story on Netflix about the life of professor James Murray who made the first edition of Oxford English Dictionary, the movie written by Todd Komarnicki, Farhad Safinia and Simon Winchester, directed by Farhad Safinia and starring Mel Gibson, Sean Penn, Eddie Marsan, Natalie Dormer, Jennifer Ehle, Steve Coogan, Stephen Dillane and Ioan Gruffudd.

    On 19th century, Professor James Murray is starting his epic job to collect words to prepare the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary, and the most interesting thing about it is that he got more than 10000 words from Dr William Minor who is a patient in a hospital for the criminally insane.

    The Highwaymen

    Another one of the movies based on a true story on Netflix written by John Fusco, directed by John Lee Hancock, and starring Kevin Costner, Woody Harrelson, Kathy Bates, John Carroll Lynch, Thomas Mann, Dean Denton, Kim Dickens, William Sadler and W. Earl Brown.

    Movie Plot

    The story about the most famous criminals in the history of the United States; Bonnie and Clyde. This time it is told from the point of view of the two detectives who arrested them. Their names were Frank Hamer and Maney Gault.

    Both of these detectives had to depend on their instincts when the FBI force and the most advanced technology they have was not enough to complete the mission.
