    “Tron: Ares” Gains Gillian Anderson

    Sounds like “Tron: Ares” has just gained one of our absolute favorites- Gillian Anderson! According to reports, she has joined the third “Tron” film, alongside already confirmed stars Jared Leto, Cameron Monaghan, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Sarah Desjardins, and Jodie Turner-Smith.

    There is VERY little known about the plot of the film, but, Disney has confirmed it will follow Leto as Ares, who comes to the real world from The Grid.

    Joachim Ronning (“Pirates of the Caribbean“) directs from a script by Jesse Wigutow and Jack Thorne.

    Cameras are rolling on “Tron: Ares” now.
