Add Squinkies to Your Kid’s Christmas Stocking for an Awesome Surprise

If you haven’t heard of Squinkies then you’re missing out on some extraordinary fun. They’re the next new hot collectible and your kids are gonna love them. I was sent a set to play with, with my kids of course and it was a huge hit.

At first I have to admit I was a little intimidated by the size of them. Would they get lost? Would they hurt when I inevitably stepped on them? Would the kids even play with them?

The kids loved them. I have two girls ages 3 and 9 and they played with them for hours creating stories about each of the animals. When they opened them it was fun because they come with four mystery ones, so you get the element of the “surprise eggs” that used to be really popular a few years ago. They may still be popular now but I remember a time when YouTube for kids was nothing but surprise pack. It doesn’t seem to be the case anymore or my 3-year-old just doesn’t watch the same stuff as my oldest did. Anyway….

Do they hurt when you step on them? NO! These are made not of hard plastic but a softer material. Not quite squishy and not quite hard. They’re firm but soft. So if you do end up stepping on them they won’t stab your feet. Which is a great change from some of the other toys on the market.

They have lost a few since I got them for review but that’s to be expected. If you keep these in a little container it would be beneficial. They also sell a little playset that you can store them in when you’re not playing with them.

Overall I’d probably rate these an 8/10 for the level of entertainment and fun that my kids had. They still play with them now and it’s been a few months since we got them so that should tell you something. You can find Squinkies through the Amazon link here.
