Sometimes, you just can’t help but adore Tom Hardy. He seems like the best guy to have a beer with, walk dogs with, do various forms of martial arts with. When you combine all those things with a Sony Pictures Spider-Man villain, you get something…interesting. Sure, maybe “Venom” and it’s sequel “Venom 2” weren’t the greatest films of all time, but they sure were fun to watch.
This is why we’re very excited to see Hardy and co back on set working on “Venom 3.”
Hardy himself posted a photo celebrating the return, with co-writer and director this time out, Kelly Marcel. Her face is kind of everything. He’s standing there with a tiny beer, smiling and happy, and she’s sorta got that “oh, god” reaction we can imagine accompanies a pun or bad joke.
In any case, we’re excited to see what happens with the third symbiote film. ESPECIALLY since “Ted Lasso” star Juno Temple will be along for the ride. Likewise, “Doctor Strange” star Chiwetel Ejiofor will be involved as well, as we saw Mordo meet Eddie Brock in the end credits scene in “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.”
“Vendom 3” currently has a release date of November 8th, 2024. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
