Oscar Winner Ke Huy Quan Wants to be in “Star Wars”

Actor Key Huy Quan resurfaced in “Everything, Everywhere, All At Once,” showing an impeccable range of emotion, charm that can’t be taught, and an incredible onscreen presence. Quan became an Oscar winner from that role, and he continues to take his dreams to the next level. Having added being a key character in a Marvel Studios series to his list, Quan now has his sights set on being included in a galaxy far, far away.

“I love the MCU. You know, I was able to connect with my Indiana Jones family during the award season,” Quan told Collider. “And, as you know, Kathleen Kennedy was the producer. And she’s the head of Lucasfilm now. I did go up to her and I said, ‘Kathy, I would love to join the Star Wars family.’ That’s another wish list of mine. But honestly, I’ve been very lucky. I’ve been very lucky.”

Quan’s Undeniable Magnetism Makes Him Fit In Anywhere

“Loki” season 2 has just concluded, with Quan playing the role of Ouroboros. Quan has possessed an energy that’s hard not to watch. Whether you’re watching “The Goonies” or “Everything, Everywhere, All At Once,” Quan captivates with his adorable smile and charismatic vibe. When playing the part of Ouroboros, Quan realized that the character was essentially just “Goonies” Data as an adult. So it was as though he was returning to that character all these years later.

“Loki” Season 2 Disney+, Marvel Studios

Seeing Quan in a Star Wars film would need to be more than simply a minor role. How would you all want to see him? Personally, we think he deserves to be either a Jedi or a plucky pilot as part of the main cast. If “The Mandalorian” didn’t already have a wisecracking mechanic, Quan would be the perfect fit. Or perhaps let him show off his acting chops and give him the role of a bounty hunter or villain. It doesn’t matter the role, we’d honestly be thrilled to see him just living his dreams and having fun.

Seasons 1 and 2 of “Loki” are streaming on Disney+.
